I wanted to show you all my veggie garden done in IKEA shoe and sweater storage bags.
This is our first year in our new home and we are still working on the yard.
Hubby is digging the pond, changing the elevation in the yard, and moving lots of dirt.
I didn't want to put in a permanent garden that would be disrupted and moved again next year.
So the Garden in a Bag is what I decided on.
I headed to IKEA to pick up the items I needed.
Then had my son go get me a scoop of top soil.
Fill the bags with dirt.
And plant!
I picked tomato varieties that I have never heard of or tried before.
Omars Lebanese
Pilgirm
Better Bush
Big Zac
Abe Lincoln
Mountain Fresh
Old Fashion Goliath
Porter House

Cucumbers
Yellow and Red Peppers
Radish Seeds
Zucchini Squash
Yellow Squash
Lettuce
Green Bean Seeds
I also picked up these garden markers at IKEA.
I will have to give the containers more organic MOO POO than a normal garden, but It was easy and will be rewarding once it starts producing.
I was even smart enough to put the garden right beside the hose and compost bin.
