I just wanted to introduce myself and my blog to all those who are finding Penny Pinch Plugs through the Blog Party 2009 links. HI! I'm Jessica, a (almost-gah!) 28 year old stay at home mom to a gorgeous (almost-yikes!) 3 year old little girl named Zoey. We are a one income family and I've been trying to save us money since before the economy took a turn for the worse. I love to plan parties and doing it on a budget is more fun because you get to be more creative with the whole experience. I am currently planning my daughter's 3rd birthday and plan to post blogs about how I am cutting corners on what will be a massive shin-dig for cents on the dollar!
I started posting blogs about money savers in my personal blogs because I wanted to share all the info I was seeing online through websites, blogs and e-mails. But I thought, why not try to spread the savings further by branching out in a blog that could help everyone. That's where Penny Pinch Plugs was started. Originally a community on LiveJournal, I also mirror post all the savings lists here on Blogger. I collect savings information for a few hours a day and usually in one post per day I'll put up the big list of everything I've found. I am still new to blogging about savings but I'm already getting more organized and I am working on my own graphics.
Hopefully you'll scroll down through my blogs and like what you see! I simply want to spread the savings around to anyone that wants the information!
