Kmart Doubles Shopping, $14.64

Most Kmarts are doubling all manufacturer coupons (up to $.99 value) this week.  Check your ad to see if your local one is participating.  I headed out with my couponing buddy Theresa from The Coupon Commandos.  We weren't very prepared, but here's what I got, with Theresa's help:

Used 2 $.55/1 from 9/18 RP (each doubled to $1.10)
Net cost of $.59 each!

Welch's Juice, $2.99
Used $.75/1 from 9/25 SS (doubled to $1.50)
Net cost of $1.49!

Subtotal: $12.70, Total: $14.64

Plus I got back 2 coupons:
$3 Off Grocery Health Care and/or Beauty Care purchase of $3 or more
Free Bread (limit 1 of $1.99 in savings)

Kmart Shopping, $5.15

Couponing isn't always easy!  This trip certainly proves that!

I was able to get 5 u-build Sorry! games for FREE and 3 Toy Story 3 Operation games for $.80 each after coupons!  Tax was another $2.75.  So my final net cost was $5.15! :)

It took 4 Kmart employees, including the manager, but they were all wonderful!  U-build Sorry! was on clearance for $10.  Toy Story 3 Operation was on clearance for $11.  Kmart's toy clearance had signs saying it was all an additional 20% off.  Of course it didn't ring up that way, but after a call, the cashier manually took off 20%, bringing u-build Sorry! down to $8 each and Toy Story 3 Operation down to $8.80 each.

The coupons didn't naturally double, so I showed the cashier today's SmartSource that shows that Kmart is doubling Hasbro coupons this week.  She was able to manually double the $4 Sorry! coupons, but while the $4 Operation ones would scan, they wouldn't double.  A couple more cashiers tried getting it to work then called the manager.

The manager was very nice and asked if he could keep my ad.  He had no knowledge of doubling the Hasbro coupons.  He allowed the cashier to manually enter the price for the Operations at $4.80.
In the end, my subtotal was $2.40, plus $2.75 tax.  Total spent on EIGHT GAMES...$5.15!! :)  That's 64 cents a game!

Kmart is doubling all Hasbro game coupons included in today's SmartSource.  This offer is available through September 17!

Money Saving Madness found several games on clearance and other coupons were doubling for her. This may vary by store, but could be worth a try!

Kmart Double Coupons up to 99¢

Many Kmart locations are doubling coupons up to 99¢ this week.  Locally, New Boston & Chillicothe are participating.

Here's a couple deals:

• Select General Mills cereals are $2. There is a 75¢ printable coupon for Kix and a 60¢ printable coupon for Cinnamon Toast Crunch here. That makes the Kix only 50¢ and the Cinnamon Toast Crunch only 80¢.
• Chex Mix is $1.50 and there is a 55¢ printable coupon here. That makes it only 40¢ after doubled coupon.

**You can only double 5 coupons per day and must have a Rewards card.

Kmart Super Doubles 7/4- 7/10 on Health & Beauty Coupons!

The good news: It looks like select Kmart locations are having their Super Doubles again starting, 7/4 and running thru 7/10! If you’re new to couponing or my site, Kmart super doubles means that they'll double coupons up to a $2 value– which means you could get $4 off one product!

The bad news:  It appears this time they’re only doubling Health & Beauty products (not grocery items) and only allowing up to 5 coupons to be doubled per customer, per day.

There’s a new $1/1 Bic product coupon available here. Use this on the small packages of pens priced around $1 at Walmart, Target, KMart and elsewhere to get them free. This coupon expires June 6, 2010.

So it's been awhile...

As many of you know, it's been awhile since I've posted a new entry. For that, I deeply apologize. There has been so much going on in my personal life that I just haven't had the time. I recently started a full time job that has kept me very busy, including working 60+ hours a week. So, hopefully, now that I've taken a little break and regrouped myself, I can start this blog back up full time as well.

Kmart Double Coupons Starts Tomorrow!!!

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. Kmart is having their double coupons up to $2.00 beginning again tomorrow! That means, if you have a $2.00 coupon, they will double it and take $4.00 off!! There are some really good coupons in tomorrow's paper, so check them out and you might want to think of ordering extras! The Chinet coupon is going to be HOT!!!

BTW, if your ad states double coupons up to $.75, call your store. There was a misprint in some ads, and they are really doubling to $2.00, confirmed at several stores in Ohio!

KMart Solar Light Sets HUGE Sale!!!

Did you know Kmart has their own Coupon Center online now? They do!! There's some really good coupons on there, including a coupon for $12 off a 4 pack of Solar Lights, limit 5. There are several styles on clearance in stores for $18-$19. So your best choice is to do them in a lot of 3 at a time. So your transaction would look like this:
3 packs of solar lights $54
Then use a $5 off a $50 purchase found here
So now your total is $49. Then you use the $12 off solar light set at Kmart coupon found here and your total is $13 for 3 packs, or 12 solar lights! Seems like a pretty good deal to me! Just in time for summer!!
